The proposed Bohol Polytechnic State Institute (BPSI) has gained support as Bohol moves to expand technical-vocational education and training across the province.
The Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Committee has endorsed the creation of BPSI, a major step that could open more opportunities for skills training, employability, and livelihood development for Boholanos. More importantly, the proposal reflects the province’s continuing effort to strengthen access to practical and career-focused education.
A Big Step for TVET in Bohol
If realized, the Bohol Polytechnic State Institute could help widen access to technical-vocational programs in different parts of the province. At the same time, it may create stronger pathways for students, workers, and jobseekers who want to gain useful skills and improve their employment prospects.
The proposed institute also supports Bohol’s long-term goal of building a more skilled and competitive workforce.
More Opportunities for Boholanos
The creation of BPSI could become an important milestone for education and livelihood development in Bohol. In addition, it may help prepare more Boholanos for future careers while supporting local industries that need trained and capable workers.
As discussions move forward, the proposal already gives hope for broader access to technical education in the province.
